WO Edition Handover Box

An extraordinary car deserves an extraordinary handover experience

When creating the W.O. Edition Mulsanne, I came up with the idea of providing something extraordinary to each customer, something we had never done before for a limited edition. A presentation handover box.

I worked with a brand new supplier to Bentley for this. Someone who had amazing experience working with luxury brands to create very special pieces.

I worked with the designer of the limited edition to bring my idea to life. I wanted to include a model of the original 8 Litre, space for all 3 keys, a certificate of authenticity and a brochure filled with imagery of both cars telling the incredible story of the 8 Litre.

Working with the designer and the new supplier we finalised a design, created a prototype which was then used to sign off for the final design with our Director of Design and Mulliner, Head of Interior Design, Head of Mulliner, Purchasing and our CEO.

The veneer on the box perfectly matches the Dark Stained Burr Walnut used in the WO Edition, because it is in fact Bentley veneer. The Certificate of Authenticity is personally signed by Adrian Hallmark, Chariman and CEO of Bentley Motors and Stefan Sielaff, Director of Design and Mulliner. I wanted it to be special so I insisted on getting an actual signature rather than printing them.

The book features imagery of the 8 Litre and Mulsanne that we have not published anywhere else, and never will.

But the best part of this, in my opinion, is the model car. A perfectly replicated 1:18 model of WO Bentley's 8 Litre. Specifically commissioned by me for this project and only available to customers of the 100 limited editions, it's really something special.
